If you are afraid of stock market and the complexity that it involves then don’t get into it before you learn about those complexities. Keep your investments as simple as possible. If you don’t understand something in the stock market then make a conscious effort to learn and play the game. It is very simple game; there are many terminologies that the stock market world presents you. You need not be scared of it, when I can invest and make money I think anyone can. This is what I have learnt in years after I started investing in the year 2006, it is been three years now and I have made decent profit. Last 5 days markets seem to be either very positive or negative. It was just a roller coaster ride. The markets went up and up on one day and next day it went down. I wonder what is going on with the investor’s sentiment. Aren’t they happy with the current scenario or not? What is it that is bothering the investors? I read couple of articles last week about the economy and most of the financial experts think that the economy is on the way to recovery although they have the usual disclaimer stating that it is just author’s views and the site does not hold any responsibility whatsoever. SEBI has abolished the Entry load for the Mutual Funds. That means after the NFO (New Fund Offer) if any investor wants to enter into that particular Fund, he had to pay certain amount as Entry Load as he is going to invest in the middle of the Fund’s life cycle. Now, SEBI has abolished it. This was not necessary for the Assets Management Company (AMC) but they thought it would be nice idea to charge the investors and now SEBI has taken a stand for the investors as in time of such financial turmoil. SEBI is more concerned about the investors and it want to bring in the faith that things are all fine. Continue reading
